Well, Reagan's tonsils are officially gone. When she woke up from surgery, the first thing she asked was if they were out, then she asked if she could see them. I asked the nurse and she called back to check, but they were disposed of already. She was kind of bummed. She is doing very well! Better then I expected. We can really tell when the medicine is wearing off though. Today she has a cup of pudding and a little bit of oatmeal for breakfast. She said it did not hurt too bad. She has been following all the directions on eating and drinking, and taking her medicines even if she does not like them. She gave me a little scare yesterday after we were home. She slept from 10:30-3:00, waking up with a 102-103 temp. I called the hospital and they told me to add motrin to her list of medications, plus they perscribed an antibiotic in case she has a bug. I am so proud of her and the recovery she is making!!! Daddy picked up some broccoli and cheese soup for lunch. She is pretty excited about that. (Yuk!) Gretchen, Robyn and I will have something else!! The other two girls are doing very well with this too. Gretchen likes to take care of her sister and make sure she is okay. Robyn, I think is looking forward to crawling all over Reagan when she recovers!!
Thank you for all the calls, gifts and to Chris and Wendy for watching Robyn and Gretchen! We love you all!!!
