Another day

Well, another weekend gone. Where does the time really go? I went to Fargo on Friday night, it was such a last minute decision and a quick trip. I left home at 5:30. It takes an hour and a half to get there, but I made it just in time to see my grandma and grandpa take the survivor lap a the Relay for Life. It was worth the quick trip. I was really hoping to see Dr. Berry, a professor from college who is going through cancer again, but she was not able to make it. I did get a chance to see some of her family. We left there at 10:30 and got home shortly after midnight. Just Gretchen and I went. "Mom, dat was pun," were Gretchen's words when we got in the car. It was so nice to have a one on one with her. I always try to do that with each of the girls. Saturday night everyone showed up to stay before the Sturgis trek this morning. We had a nice dinner and Troy shot the canyon for everyone. They thought that was awesome!! Today is hot, muggy, gross, etc. The girls and I went into Park Rapids to pick up some stuff at Walmart and go have supper. One checkblank is all I had, therefore, Walmart was the only stop. We just came home and ate and played outside. I get to go to work tomorrow and I am thrilled. I get to meet with my new kindergarten team, and meet with our new highschool principal in the afternoon. Hopefully it will be a productive day.
Troy called and he made it to Pierre, SD today. It took about 13 hours. Dad's bike (brand new) broke down close to Pierre, so he will take it in in the morning and they will continue. They planned on staying in Pierre anyway. Tomorrow they will make the last stretch to Sturgis.
I hope you all have a great week!!!
